Talking about death
Talking about death does not make it happen… It’s GONNA happen.
What I want most out of the work I do is to help change our language around death. As a western culture, we have sterilized death, hidden it way and refuse to discuss it out of fear it will make it come true. Guess what? Everyone is going to die. And it’s going to be different for everyone. Talking about it openly, can help ease the fears we have. We may discover that the people around us also have the same fears or have gone through similar trauma when facing death. We can support and comfort each other as we move through death. Most importantly, it allows us to share with those around us what we want as we die. We don’t have to hide death in the shadows anymore. Words are power and making a plan is just that, a plan. So lets jump into talking about death and creating a plan that reflects who you are and what you want.
